2015 Mustang
What do you 1er boys think? I am a muscle car lover and a long time Mustang fan, for me this car looks like it's going to be a winner here. Just got back from my honeymooning in Hawaii, every second car was a bloody Mustang (V6's though) but i felt like i was in Mustang heaven. If i can convince my wife she needs a V8 Mustang then i'll probably grab a cherry red Stang with black rims and stripe decals.
Hopefully with the 'about time' new suspension work it will be a fairly good handling bang for your buck coupe/convertible. Although the numbers are impressive for the 2.3 eco boost engine it just doesn't sit well with me to get a Mustang without a V8. http://www.carsales.com.au/news/2013...revealed-40426 |

Funny I brought up the Ford Mustang, I just posted up the story on the reveal of the new 2015 Ford Mustang.
I will take any V8 anyday.

Obviously "certain" 1M boys feel they have to defend the honour of their beloved car by calling a car still years away a POS. (probably has the same view of the CLA45). Who knows, it might be a real winner in the handling department as well. FWIW, I think the 2015 Mustang looks great and at the price point being stated will probably represent good value for money.

Hmm these things dont look too bad imo.
I have always despised most american cars due to their poor build quality, boring design, poor handling and lazy thirsty drivetrains but this thing looks like great BFYB. I must say I was impressed with a mates new Jeep cherokee SRT8 in white with black accents. It looked great, has a great meaty v8 roar (with headers fitted) fuel economy was in the mid teens thanks to cylinder deactivation, the interior looked and felt great. So maybe the yanks are slowly lifting their game! |

Chaps why does every thread turn into a pissing comp?
Personal attacks aside, I think it's a step in the right by Ford. I just hope they give it a decent quality interior. Interesting to note that this is the first Mustang to get IRS... What decade are we in again? Does anyone know how much it will weigh? Don't get me wrong, power is great but light will beat it every time. |

Geez! I should have posted this on e90... Considering this is Fords global Mustang there build quality has gone up a few notches according to them (we'll wait and see). I have a CLA45 on order so its not like the Mustang is a priority for me, but for the estimated 50-60k its going to be a pretty hot looking V8 for the money. Im sure true enthusiasts of muscle cars will appreciate the step up Ford has made for the new gen with suspension and interior/exterior build.

Threads seem to turn south once Ian gets a hold of it. Or if anyone says another car except his is good...

True Alpine but Mr HSV would not be pleased. Lot of good cars coming out and the fact is the quality / inclusion / performance and value gap between a BMW and these is closing rapidly and if BMW doesn't re-address their position, they will soon loose loyal followers. If I buy a M235i next year it won't be because it's the car I really want but the car I settled for. The CLA45 is my pick but I'm not going to wait 12 months for a car when I turn them over every 2 to 3 years. Who knows ... Mustang might be a great hooligan car to hang out for though.

The rear end of the new Mustang is a fail, just like the new Corvette. There are a lot of improvements but I'm not a fan so far.

I hope so, but it would be the next generation, which loses some of its angles (and therefore pony look). IMO they ruined the styling.
