1er Coupe Trunk fit Golf Clubs?
Just saw a pic of a trunk holding a carry bag, and the guy had to remove his driver from the bag for it to fit. Anyone else able to comment on the trunk size for fitting clubs?

I tried several times to fit my sticks into the trunk, but couldn't quite get it. I settled for throwing them in the passenger seat.
I thought I saw an earlier post by Izzo in which he was able to fit two sets into his trunk - perhaps he could give us a lesson? n.b. mine is a 128i Cv |

yup two sets this past weekend and the one b4.. but i have a slim bag and the other set is my wifes so they are small...
two mens sets.... not sure if that would work What i do for my two sets is one closet to the bumper with it spilling over into the net area and then one diagonally on top of that with the head of clubs in the net area again

I have to lower one of the back seats, put the clubs in the trunk, then close the back seat and the trunk. It works out OK, I guess. At least I don't have to leave the back seat down all the time with the clubs in the car. I thought I might at first.
Or I can take out the driver and 3 wood. It will go in without lowering the back seat then. |

I just swapped from my cart bag to my carry bag and they fit in the trunk just fine. Two sets would be a stretch in the Cv...
Per the g5's - I'm so old school I think I'm about the last guy playing BeCu Eye2's!! I've hit most of the newer clubs at demo days and g5's are very easy to swing. The new Callaway X-20's (or something like that) were sweet, as well. |

I can get both my wife's and my golf bags (with clubs) in the trunk of my 128i Cabrio - albeit a bit of a tight squeeze. :w00t:
Mine is a medium sized stand bag and my wife's is a smaller stand bag. I can post pics if that would help..:iono: BTW, we've both been hitting the Ping G2 irons for the past few years and we love them. If the G5s are as good as the G2s(and I assume they're equal or better), then I highly recommend them..

They should fit, but you might have to pull your driver out, at least I do in my brothers E46.

It's not a 128, it's a 135 coupe but I have no problem with the fit. I believe that I could put another set on top although I haven't had the opportunity to try yet.

1 set goes fine, but you might need to take the driver out and lay it at a different angle then the main set of clubs. Of course you could get the passthrough like me if you are gettin a Vert and are nervous about it.
I use the Nike OSS Slingshot Irons with a Callaway FTI square driver

Wow, I dunno what I would do if I couldn't squeeze my set in the trunk. If you are thinking ping, go for the Rapture, I won them last year and this year I have dropped about 5 strokes as well as being way more accurate from long range.
