Just Dynoed JB4 269RWKW

OK so I finally got back on the dyno and max power was 269RWKW on a DD dyno. Unfortunately I didn't have any race fuel to run more boost. These runs were done at approx 14.5psi. I need that meth to get close to that 300 mark. I think with race fuel and 15-16psi I could have gotten closer to 285rwkw. There's always a next time. In conclusion I am very happy with this increase in power considering total cost of mods, shipping and installs comes to just over $2500. I think that with the meth kit with a CM10 nozzle I would add approx. another 25rwkw for a cost of around $800. Not bad at all.

Thanks Matt. I'm happy with the 270 mark for now until the meth bug bites.

Thanks BMW86. Can't tell you how many times a day that damn meth rings in my ear. I think I'll just have to bit the bullet and do it.

Nice numbers, especially for a 'vert! She must be a real sleeper

Definitely get meth when the new Vishnu kit comes out. I wish I had the cash to do so!

JB4135,

Nice power curve. Can I ask what is the different colour lines on the dyno graph represent? Is it different Map on your JB4? The pink line looks better IMO for street. Do you know which gear did they dyno on?

Thanks Jeef. I'm a JB guy so I'll be going with the new VC2 Pro meth kit from coolingmist. The Procede is no doubt a great product but my tuner for these cars will always remain with Terry at Burger Motorsports.

Ah my bad, must've had a mental block and failed to register than your name JB4135 stood for....JB4

Either way, meth is good for power and reliability. Always good to have something to help cut down on the carbon buildup.

I see you've got the BMS DCI as well, I love how it's simple, cheap and does its job just as well as the more expensive options.

Thanks reece, Red is map 2 at 14.5 psi. Green is map 6 but didn't have the octane to support any higher boost. Pink is map 7 again didn't have octane to support. yes pink is better definitely for the street.

Agree with the meth.

The DCI definitely work specially now that the weather is cooling down.

I'm not sure Matt. I think it's a safer bet for us JBer's to go with coolingmist kits as all the testing is done with the JB4.

I've been waiting for you to take the plunge first Matt.
It would have been great if you were in Syd or I was in QLD we could have installed together. Maybe what I would be unsure of you would know and vise versa. Two heads are better than one.

it is a shame that we cant install together Edwin, ill probably pull the trigger on meth shortly after the new coolingmist kit is released so probably next month or the month after.

Ok Matt so i've asked Terry and David from Coolingmist every possible question regarding the new version X meth kit and it's gonna be amazing. We'll just have to wait a few weeks in case of any bugs in the system so we don't have to send it back for a flash. I'm not going to go with the flow sensor just the new FCB failsafe feature. You better do this one with me. I never thought I would have gone to meth but this site does say it all '1 ADDICTS'!!!!

Keep me posted, if I had local support for meth/water injection I'd have it already too. I hear great things about this new kit
