Nah I am not using a FSB as I am running stock standard COBB Stage 2+ for 98 RON.

If I run out of meth my fail safe is the map that is meant for non meth use.

I am primarily using meth as a knock deterrent and reduce IAT, not for increase of power, though according to Terry's dyno you still get a small bump in power anyway

Well I stopped in at advan this arvo and saw the tank and the order has been placed. Justin said he would post proper picks.

Just waiting on Pete to get the cooling for the e92 sorted

Looks like turnermotorsport have a special on the Cobb. 10% off making it $805.50. Shipping is quite reasonable at approx $40. Am tempted myself.

You can get it for cheaper from Jeff@TopGearSolutions $795 shipped.

Most of the guys in the states can get $700-750 shipped so don't pay more then 800 for sure.

Absolute bargain - That's about $A760 at 1.05 exch rate. If we say shipping is $A40. That makes the Cobb tune iteslf about $A720.

I'm sure Cobb have this covered, but I'm wondering how they stop a fully paid up customer, either sharing the tune with a friend with the same engine (eg. N54), and / or, using it if they change-over their car (again with the same engine).

I'm guessing you give them your Vin when you buy their tune, and they somehow fingerprint the device to that Vin only - pure guess on my part.

You can't share the tune as once you have flash your car that AP is now locked to your car until you uninstall that tune from your car

No VIN locking per say as like the Procede

It can only be "installed" on one car at a time. You can uninstall at any time and flash another car/ sell it etc...
