Crackle and pops - JB4 vs PPK1

I have a 135is which comes with the performance exhaust and ppk. FWIW adding a jb4 increased my pops and gurgles

Go into debug mode and change Speedometer option 10 from Tach 80 to Tach 0.
Wastegate position at 0 will give you the rumble and pops that you might be looking for.

So I tried this, but it made no difference. Is it because I have a JB4 G4 and not G5 ISO? I changed it via PC interface

I tried it and it makes a very noticeable difference. It sounds awesome but the lag is brutal. I call setting 0 "bozo mode" because it sounds awesome but has terrible throttle lag. TERRIBLE. I run it at 100% because its the quickest throttle by a lot, but unfortunately it doesn't sound as mean.
