No more window op via physical remote key post Combox update?

Seems like BMW has been weeding out ComfortAccess capabilities on non-CA cars, my 2013 135is non-CA E88 seems to think so.

I've been over this and other forums and there seems to have been early samples of E88's that you could code (via Carly and others) window & top up/down with remote button capabilities. Then at some point in E88 production cycle and subsequent ECU updates BMW took away top up/down via remote capability (and ability to even program it), now they seem to have removed window up/down via remote capability.

Recently (few months ago) I had my Combox replaced to get 3G radio functionality and it seems to have taken out not just the above mentioned remote window up/down functionality (which I programmed earlier via Carly) but it seems like they also removed window up/down via a physical key (insert key into the door and turn it to operate windows). The only thing that the physical key does is close the top (if it's open).

Anybody with similar experiences?

Did you try re-coding it? When you mess with that stuff you'll wipe out the programming so you might just need to set it again.

Yeah, tried recoding multiple times... The fact that even physical key doesn't open windows seems to point at a bigger issue I'm afraid.
