Cool 8/6 UPDATED PICS / MODS PICS UPDATES...BLACK VINYL ROOF OVERLAY, BLACK INTERIOR...

Hey 1addicts, before i go with wheels and suspension and one more cosmetic mod to the side mirrors (on order), here is the car.

* BMW Aluminum Pedals | ColinB@savagebmw.com
* Black schwarz interior (substituted from grey) | EricL@savagebmw.com
* Hardwired Escort 9500 | BEST BUY Ontario, CA
* Gloss black roof overlay (the white shark fin is still OEM, i had a black one ordered but wrong part came in, new one is on order but i sorta like the white one!!!) | bluebatmobile@san.rr.com
* BMW shadowline kidney grilles | ColinB@savagebmw.com
* BMS JB2 and BMS dual cone setup | terenceburger@gmail.com

Still debating on wheels, might go with the WORKS USA VS-XX or the 3D Design Brombachers. Quads would be nice with a nice rear diffuser!

close up pics of the overlay will come soon....
a bmw tech friend of mine installed all interior parts for me. he ran into some trouble when exchanging the moonroof cover but i came over and helped him finish the job and it was all good in the end. i was used to black headliner and interior in the x5 and m3 so the grey totally came as a surprise to me; kinda weird that BMW would do something like that

my final pcs are about 1700$ at retail. i didn't want to get two of the covers so i just had my tech paint them black; worked fine. send an email to Eric Lee @ Savage BMW. He worked with me a few hours to get the parts list complete and ordered from BMW AG; that parts list was 2 pages long. Just mention Kirk and he'll be right on it. His email again is EricL@savagebmw.com

The black headliner looks terrific. My ex-wife lives in your neighborhood, would you spy on her for me? Kidding, just kidding.:biggrin:

Agree with the rest - headliner mod completes that interior perfectly

Look forward to your wheel and suspension mods.

Roof overlays are quite cheap, I remembered it only cost about $80 for a tint shop to do it in SoCal.

do u know anything about a diverter valve upgrade or basically a bov upgrade for the 135i? thats what I really want to do. Unless theres an intake upgrade that will enhance the blow off sound when you shift. For example when I had an evo and I upgraded the intake it highly increased the bov noise.

ah yes, the black vinyl roof overlay. kit costs 80$ (contact andy at bluebatmobile@san.rr.com) and his installer charged 60$ and took about 2 hours to install. the kit is two pieces because of the moonroof so i would assume its a once piece if you dont have a moonroof...

The headliner looks great.

Sometimes (a lot of times actually) I think BMW is screwing up by offering such a restricted set of finishes in the US. It's their biggest market and they nickel and dime it.
