Looks good! Was planning on doing the exact same thing with the black roof. So it looks like you just have the side roof rails covered as well right? Is there a seam between the actual roof and the rails or no?

yah i wanted the roof rails to be covered. some guys leave the roof rails out, which is odd to me.

white fin / black fin, personal preference, i did like the white fin but the black fin was more of the "correct" look but the white DID look pretty good.

for the roof overlay here is the info again: kit costs 80$ (contact andy at bluebatmobile@san.rr.com)

and here are more close up pics of the roof taken today

Kirk a couple of quick questions:

1. How does washing, waxing work with the vinyl overlay?
2. Do they make a Faux CF weave vinyl?

1. good question i havent really washed it yet, ill email andy and ask him. i sorta used my karcher power wash on it and i think i left some scratches LOL
2. i was looking for a CF overlay but havent found anyone here with it, i saw some guy's CF roof on here and PM'ed him but no answer. if a real CF roof came to existence i would switch out for sure. this is a nice temp solution imo.

Yeah i dont hold out much hope for CF roof applications at the moment....i think there are some issues with the integrated sunroof on the US 1er's or some other nonsense...
