of course I'm biased...so I'll reserve final opinion till I see it in person. I just seems a bit...ehh...bland?

maybe just doesn't photograph well...the 5er in a similar color looks fantastic on the road, but BLAH in photos.

For now...still glad I pulled the trigger early.

I've never seen them side by side, but if I had to guess, I'd say Sparkling Graphite is a tad deeper/darker.

I wanted space gray for 2008. Don't care for SGM which makes me think of purple/brown. Having owned the car for awhile though my fears about keeping the jet black clean were unfounded and black is about as good looking as a 1 series will ever get.

Well, not a good photo at all, but I do have one of a SG next to SGM. Next time I see Matt, I'll take some more (and better) pics. It's almost hard to tell them apart here. However, in person, the SGM is definitely darker and goes to a different side of the grey color. Both beauties. :wink:

I picked up my Space Gray yesterday, none of these photos due it justice. Everyone should be pleased with this choice. I will hopefully get pix tomorrow. It was worth the 4 month wait!

Hahahaha.....I hope it was, it's so crazy to me that it takes this long to get a car.....but hey, good things come to those who wait, right? (I guess this is one benefit of buying used, just tired of inheriting others poor maintenance habits).
