i have very very minor rubbing issues..it's due to the tire size that i chose.. i have 255-40's in the rears..if i would have gone with 255-35's, i would have absolutly no rubbing issues @ all.. the rims really are a perfect fit

I'm rubbing too, I rolled the fenders but it seems that the rubbing is on the plastic part of the fender well... I'll investigate more tomorrow when I get the car lifted.

I know the the guys at berk technology are running some pretty crazy widths and offsets and they've done rolling and fender modifying... it seems that after rolling my fenders, I have more clearance for a wider wheel, but the plastic part of the fender could still use some work... I'll definitely let you know 2m.

I apologize in advance for the crappy pictures. So apparently after the rolling of the fenders, it was the inside of the fender that was rubbing and not the sheet metal. The rubbing is slowly wearing away on the plastic part of the outer fender closer to the front side.
To confirm this, I placed painters tape on certain parts of my fender and induced the rub on a bumpy sweeping on ramp. Below are the pictures.

They are in Norwood. Primarily JDM stuff but not exclusively Mitsu / Subi. They are experienced fabricators, tuners and racing engineers. Rolling your fenders should be a softball . Got to nasioc or evolutionm and search on "dentsport" for recommendations.
Give them a call - I have and they are very receptive. They are highly respected! http://www.dentsport.com |
