Agree that it's easy to start on 1st gear. The 1-2, 2-3 is a little more difficult to achieve smoothly.

Good to hear you are getting the hang of it easily. It helps my concerns over getting adjusted to a stick when my 6sp 325i arrives at the end of the month.
