BMW Performance Suspension DIY and warranty
If I buy and install the BMW performance suspension kit myself, will I have any problems with the car's warranty?

I don't think that's entirely true, but I may be mistaken. I believe the suspension will still be covered by BMW warranty (it is a BMW part), but the labor and install will naturally not be covered. Thats like saying if you replace your brake pad with OEM pad by yourself or by another shop, the entire braking system warranty is void, which I don't believe to be the case. That is unless they can show that the installation was improper or caused the associated failure. I could be wrong though.

any BMW accessory has a 2 year unlimited warranty. installation of it does not void anything under any circumstance. (when installed by the customer or as BMW says purchased over the counter)
i.e. if the shock were too leak... covered if spring were to crack....covered including the labor to replace it once installed. of course all standard warranty rules apply... no abuse , racing , etc.... but then again, impossible (almost) to prove.
