New Car Pics
I picked it up last week but we had some awful weather, so this morning was my first chance to spruce it up and take a few glam shots.

Very nice! The Savanna leather does look great. The LED eyelines on the 2012 look absolutely badass at night! Makes the car appear angry.
Did the chrome dead pedal come with it? |

Thanks all. The dead pedal I believe is part of the M-sport package, though I'm not really sure. You can see the M logo on it in the picture.

Great looking ride! Never did really like verts but the 1 series looks killer with a soft top as well. I really like the factory built in LED head light eye brows also. Congrats!

It's just the wheel protectant. That stuff works great -- really cuts down on the brake dust.
Yup I'm in Silver Lakes, good eye. At the north end near Sheridan. :-) I used Lauderdale BMW (obviously), playing them off against two identical cars that were in stock at Braman in Miami, but they matched so I was glad that I was able to get it from such a close-by location. I think I'm going to take that dealer plate bracket off. I don't mind people knowing where I got it, but it's just too ostentatious. Those giant letters are practically a chrome trim piece of their own -- really interrupts the black theme (which I love because the seats REALLY stand out when I throw the top down). I'm getting the windows tinted this week, I plan to get the black kidney grills, and I'd like to get tinted side turn indicators as well at some point. (The reverse lights don't bother me so much, and I'm not into painted wheels.) (Actually that plate bracket would almost work if I just took some black paint and painted over those "Pembroke Pines" letters.) (lol)

I saw the thread... hasn't that a pretty popular car-meet spot for years? (Or am I thinking of another place?)
Unfortunately I work M-F nights. I'll keep an eye on it though and I'll probably get to one eventually.
