Adaptive headlight question

Got the adaptive headlight warning light after washing my car, so something got wet. When I was changing out my angel eyes i probably didn't seal it right so that's most likely the reason for it. The headlights still move up and down when i start the car, but don't turn left or right at all, and about about 30 seconds after starting the car the warning light comes up. Anyone know What exactly is damaged and how much it costs to get fixed? Thanks
