H & R Trak + Spacers
Today I ordered some H & R Trak + spacers for the 120. I ordered 25mm, just for the rear.. they come with longer bolts..anyone tried something this big? I had a look at the guard clearance, taking a bit of a gamble, but I think with stock height it should fit fine.

25mm on the stock 8" or 7.5" wheels will clear the rears with no dramas, there is more space than you realise, i have 9.5" +45 rear wheels which were apparently not going to fit.. they clear fine on stock msport suspension
with a 1-2" drop you probably will rub but a roll or pull "should" fix that, can wait to see pics.. in my opinion you probably should have got 15mm MAX to be safe, but hey, someone's gotta push the boundary's

This photo is the rear end of a 1 series with 10' wide at + 43 Offset. This is 31mm out more at the rear than what my car is currently (18 x 8 + 49). I see a rub on th etyre, but this car has 19's as well, so that wont help things...So I think 25mm on stock wheels will be OK.

Wow, this is going to be really interesting, that combo of yours sits out 23mm more than where my stock wheels sit, and these spacers I have on the way are 25mm. I think you also have an advantage with your tyre, even though its wider, the sidewall is about 4-5mm shorter than my 225's..plus perhaps also helped a little more again by being on a bit of a stretch...how close does it go to rubbing? You are still on the stock suspension yeah?

on the m=sport suspension.. its about 5-10mm from the inner lip of the guard and ~5mm from the strut on the inside
the stretch has definitely help out with clearances but i am fairly sure i can go a 255/40 or whatever the next size up is will this be your first batch of non-runflat tyres? the difference is just amazing

Also, how good does this look, 12mm spacers here, which is why I was stressing originally, as this looks like its already a tight fit. Link http://www.babybmw.net/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=21583 |

the guards are really really deceptive dont be fooled, worst case scenario is that you have to take the spacers off and buy wider wheel's
i dont have any shots that show how it "pokes" i need to drop mine asap

Thats going to look real good when you bring it down, have you bought the coilovers yet? I'm looking at KW V1's, at the moment shipped over is looking somewhere around 1600-1700 AUD.

Ok, gave it a good run with 5 ppl...have about 2mm of interference on the very rear of the guard lip, couldnt ask for a better fit. Am going to roll the rear guards and get coilovers, perfect stance..for the rear anyway.
