That looks really good, the contrast to OEM is mind-boggling, makes you wonder why they didn't just roll them off the factory like that?

Would you mind posting / PM'ing where you sourced them from and what variant you optioned for (e.g. 10,000K etc)

Many thanks!
Stan

They're just LUX Angel Eyes: http://luxangeleyes.com/ I bought it off the website.

I'm not sure what temp they are, but I reckon they're around 7.5k?

Can't wait to see what you're gonna do with our 1er1 And I took a better look over the past 2 days and I think it's more 6000K. It's pure white. The blue only comes out in pictures.

You've motivated me to finally go downstairs and install my set. Was a bitch to put the lid back on

Btw the location of your photo looks familiar, would you happen to park under the KFC?

Haha I had my LUX lying around for awhile too. Saw a few pictures as well that gave me the push to install them. Glad the chain reaction is continuing ahaha

And the CBD KFC? Nope, but it's close to there

Installed mine today!!!

Wow. What a difference...

Attached is a comparison between the GP Thunder 8500k on the left of picture and the Lux V3 on the right.

It doesn't really demonstrate the difference in brightness but it shows the colour difference quite well. I didn't realise how purple the GP Thunders were until now...

After having the 330D Loaner with the LCI Angel Eyes yesterday I'd have to say that this is about as close as you can get with the design of the 1er lights. The outer ring is not quite as bright as the inner one but the difference is nowhere near as much...

Looks good, however for some reason I prefer the more "mean" look of the OEM orange/yellow..

Those ones look like you'd have to drill holes in the covers - the ballast sits outside the headlight...

Also, doesn't look like they'd line up quite right with the fibre optic pickups in the 1er... they are at 180 degrees - need to be 90...
