Will these fit ?

Hey guys, so Ive been researching a nice set of winter tires to order soon...Found these,

Was running 215/40/R18 during the summer...Just want to make sure this will fit fine. Thanks guys.
I have an '08 135i , sport suspension.

With stock wheels and only sport suspension, I think you should be okay.. any lower and I believe you might run into rubbing. As I learned yesterday, Blizzaks run PRETTY large.

Keep in mind, 225/45/18 is 4.8% off your OE 215/40/18. So may see this difference in the speedo. Most manufacturers would suggest keeping the difference <3.0%

OK i appreciate the help...Going to run to the tire store and see if they have a nice winter tire in 215/40/18 then...Any suggestions on tires?

Yeah. Get some 17 inch wheels that will fit and narrower/taller winter tires. That's quite possibly more important than exactly what winter tire you get.

It says Tirerack has only one winter tire in 215/40-18. Not surprising, it's a bit wide for winter, with short stiff sidewalls.

Have you looked into 225/40/18? That's only 1.3% off from stock

Was hoping to rock the OEM rims for winter, then buying a new set for summer...Pretty ironic that VMR decided to reply, might be looking into a set once we hit spring
