Yeah haven't even gotten my first payment yet....

Opticoat is sweet, but you really want your car PERFECT before it is applied since it is permanent. The only person I trust to do it is Rick at Unique Car Care. He did amazing work on my evo. Then it was tboned in a hit and run before I even got to give it its first wash. My friend owns it now and is fixing it up, and it cleaned up NICE.

Opticoat is great, but its still not going to do anything about rock chips. I'm on the fence about what I want to do. Even with a great hookup it is expensive to repaint the front bumper, hood and door. Then its almost not worth doing it if I don't have the car opticoated after. Rough situation.

Or I can try to live with it as a mess and just paint more later on, but that seems dumb. The moral is, new england sucks for cars all year round :/

Did the valve cleaning yesterday at 68k miles. Tech said it wasnt the worst hes seen but still pretty gummed up. Immediately noticed a difference. No hesitation and just smooth hard pulls through the powerband. Even my girlfriend said "it feels different. Like, it just goes." Haha i definitely recommend you guys do this service if you havnt yet!

Mine isn't ready for the valve cleaning yet. I've felt it before and it should be fairly noticable when it is needed. Besides with my new road debris damage, I'll have no money to spare (I didn't before LOL).

Going to cap off the recirc lines today. Good ole N54 being MAP based makes me so happy haha.

$2 BOV ftw. I just don't have any cash to spare and from what I've heard it sounds good. Easily reversible too.

So far just the front is disconnected so its 50/50 recirc/vta. Sounds better than the aftermarket bovs I heard just not nearly as loud.

Might undo the rear one to go full vta, but I need to fins somewhere to route the hose like I did with the first one.

I'm almost thinking the contrast 1 recirc one vta might even sound nicer.

If you guys do not regularly use Top Tier gas http://www.toptiergas.com/, you really should start using a bottle of this every three months.

So after a few days I've decided that setting my front diverter valve to VTA sounds amazing. I have zero interest in a charge pipe or bov now.
