BOV does the same thing as the stock duel diverter valves except it goes to the atmosphere. When your throttle closes all that air needs to go some where instead of back to the turbos, so the BOV or diverter valves opens to release it to save your turbos. People up grade the charge pipe and diverter valves bc its prone to leaks at higher boost. I have vented my diverter valves to the atmosphere and havent notice any power loss and now i have a ER chargepipe with Synapse BOV with no noticeable lose in power.

not sure, the tial bov was installed with er chargepipe and shipped to me. ever since it has being installed, it whistles alot. also wondering if this would cause any horsepower loss or pressure boost loss?

I hear a whistle, air leak sound while the car is building boost. It happens with m button pushed...a little over mid throttle starting close to 3000 rpms. Is this normal because I don't remember it doing this before. My 1M is stock and while I was at the dealer they checked it out and said it was normal blow off. That explanation doesn't sound right. The car also feels like it has more lag but that may be because I am getting used to the power. I don't want to sound like a total noob but is this normal?

my tial bov whistles whether the m button is pushed or not. it is really loud when the engine is cold and you start the car, it also continues while driving. i spoke to er and they told me to ship it back for them to check it out. if there is anything wrong they said the would replace the chargepipe and the bov.

I was using stating that mode was on because of the throttle difference compared to when it is off. |

i'm on the tial + ER and charge pipe and so far there has been no problems. works better than the stock diverter valves. In fact, my charge pipe whistles a little, but then again it might be due to my AR downpipes.
get a boost gauge to check if there are any boost leaks. I'm using a a defi boost gauge to monitor leaks and so far so good. |

my tial bov whistles when i start the car, during driving and at idle. er told me to send it back to them for a diagnosis and if anything is wrong, they will send me a new chargepipe with bov
