there is a white sticker with numbers on it. Right hand side of the intake right below the plastic weld seam.

Yes, exactly....arent there known issues with the turbos??? Shit, there are known issues with any turbocharged car....always problems at SOME POINT down the road.

sorry to revive the thread lol. could you guys tell me if any of these vehicles would have the DISA? im sure at least one or two do lol

But, you actually want one from a later X3 3.0si, X5 3.0si, or Z4 3.0si, as they'll have updated DISA valves.

If you have an older car with external oil separator, you'll need to confirm if it’ll be a direct swap, as you may need other parts.

Define "later". I've been trying to source a local manifold, and have yet to come across a thread that actually lists all the details needed to source these parts.

Anything E46 will NOT work. 2006-2007 is the awkward year which depends on the car.

A lot of the cars listed above will have the M52 or M54 motor, completely different. Still a DISA valve, but not what we want.

"older car?" im honeslty not sure, mine is a 08' 128i n52k, since thats the first year id assume that means I have an older car? lol


so what years and models do I need to look for the right DISA manifold for our cars?

Early 3 stage manifolds, and manifolds off of Z4's are a older style. If you get one, they work the same, they just need an additional hose - cross that bridge when you get there.
