Toyota doesn't include maintenance in their warranty period. It must mean they are expensive to maintain. See where I'm going with this?
My scion tC had a maintenance included into the warranty for the first 36,000 miles.

I was talking about Toyota, but according to Scion's website:

"Basic coverage

All components other than normal wear and maintenance items are covered for 36 months/36,000 miles (whichever comes first)."

That implies no free oil changes to me?

The BMW dealer warranty.

If you buy a new BMW, you'll want driving pleasure to come as guaranteed. For this reason, your BMW Service Centre now offers a warranty for the bodywork of twelve years and three years for the paintwork. For the entire automobile (excluding the replacement of worn parts), Original BMW Parts as well as Original BMW Accessories, a warranty of two years regardless of the mileage is offered. Service you can count on - we guarantee it.

On closer inspection, the design looks more similar to the e46 header, though the second manifold looks almost exactly the same with regards to the collector positioning.

Headers for the E46 M54 generally make 1-6hp depending on brand.

No. And as someone who personally complied the e46 dyno page - you're wrong.

And you just made up the bit about them licensing the design from supersprint because you thought they looked similar?

Either that, or Schmiedmann is outright lying and claiming they are building a licensed copy. You and I both know Supersprint does not allow their distributors to do that.

They aren't rebranded at all. I looked a SS picture on Google on my phone and I assumed they were rebranded SS headers. And considering that Schmiedmann are authorized resellers of SuperSprint, I assummed they were licensed to sell a replica (but why?)

On closer inspection though, these are nothing alike (save for the second set of runners) and neither look to be equal length. On the E46, Equal length headers produced a bit more torque, but peak power remained unchanged vs unequal length.

Pointless assumption on the replica, but now you know.

The Supersprint headers are equal length. As far as I know they don't offer anything that is unequal length for NA engines. Hence why we end up with some odd looking pipe snakes for cars like the BRZ:

You stated that they (Super Sprint) don't offer anything Unequal Length. They do, and I'm not sure that the N52 headers are completely equal length either.

I said as far as I know. I certainly have not checked every model they offer.

Happy you're unsure if they are equal length or not.

I've looked all over and I've never seen anything (outside of TMS's website) that says that they are. I should also note the say the same about the M52/54 headers which are clearly NOT.

Not that it makes a difference, but it seems to be something you were originally fixated on when you called the Schmiedmann crap.

Not particularly sure why you are concerned as they aren't in the cards for you, but they are.

As for the Schmiedmann version, I'd to to see their R&D facility, and production plant. Certainly would help alleviate concerns that they are little more than catless pipe. Do they have any comparison dynos up?

Why would you need to see their facility, what do you hope to gain from that - what do you believe that will tell you? I've already pointed out to you MULTIPLE times already that header design isn't an impossible task, you could do it yourself with online caculator.

So you want dynos? Me too - I've also been waiting for a 3rd Party SS dyno for a while now- same with Evolve, yet I don't see you shying away from recommending their products. (Let's not mention the lackluster gains on the 1 single dyno posted...)

And even if it were just a catless pipe - the design looks to NOT have the bottleneck in flow that the mapleridge headers did for the same price. Hmm...

(P.S. They did have the dyno for their originally designed headers for the E46 on their website showing 10whp gains on a M54B20 - pretty impressive)
