New Wheels! (A few new pics!)

Got some new wheels from Harold@HPA!

Non-staggered Breyton GTS-R's with 245's all around.

**Update**
A few pics from today's Cars and Coffee:

And because I know someone will ask for another pic of the Ford GT...

New Wheels:

Fantastic combination those silver Breyton GTS -R 's with the Black color.
But 245 in front, is this possible ?

Thanks! I really like the way these new wheels "pop".

As for the 245's, the only thing I had to do was run 5mm spacers to clear the front coilover. I actually have better fitment now than with my previous setup... Although, that was running 225's with a 12mm spacer.

Does that mean you have the 8.5 inch rim in the front?

What exact tires and size are you running? Very tempted on a square setup myself but I would def need bigger rear's than 245's since my 265's can't even handle the torque right now.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I got lucky and snatched this car up from the previous owner (Super Nova), who had an excellent taste in parts. Looking to add a front lip and Recaro PP's next...

It's crazy, the front calipers BARELY clear the inside barrel of the wheel. Probably 1-2mm in clearance. In fact, it scratched the inside of the passenger side a little. Not sure if it was due to a rock that got in there or because of my 5mm spacer (I noticed that the driver and passenger were not on the same, so switched the passenger to match driver, and haven't had any scraping since).

Yep, 8.5 all around.

These are Michelin PS2's 245/35R18's all around. I know what you mean about wanting more tire in the rear, but I much prefer the handling of non-stagger (coupled with LSD) vice trying to run a wider staggered setup.

Any negative camber up front? or just the spacer will do?......Last question, does a 245/40/18 fit up front?

I'm running -2.5 in the front, but am positive I could get away with less based on how much room I have. The spacer was only to clear the front strut.

As for the tire size, I don't see why a 40 series wouldn't fit, as it would only mean a larger sidewall. What will matter more is the brand/model tire. For example, AD08's in the same size (i.e. 245) are much wider in comparison.

I must say, I was looking at that 1st pic and saying now I'm jealous of two cars Super Nova's and yours, then a few post down I find it is 1 in the same. The wheels look great but the brakes are to die for. If that car was forsale back when I bought mine I would have jumped on it. Awesome Car!!!

Thanks! As soon as I saw SuperNova's car for sale, I jumped on it! He put some real thought into the upgrades!

Honestly, the car gave me a few problems in the beginning... The dealer who did the injector recall messed up and was causing CEL's and misfires... My dealer here fixed that issue and also replaced the evaporator and NOW I'm enjoying the car! =)
