From EX35 to 135i

Hi All
I've been lurking for awhile, and based on the great images and comments on the site, I've ordered a SGM 135i 6sp. I tried the automatic at the dealer here in ON, and it was very agile. I'm comming from a brand new Infiniti EX35, that after technical problems and zero support from my dealer I've sold. I decided to get what I really wanted.. a car thats comfortable fast, and has a decent dealer network.

Wow. I went from a Infiniti 2003 G35 coupe to a 135. I considered the EX35 but it seemed to be rather expensive and had the same/less rear legroom than the G37 coupe which was just plain odd (for a smallish "sporty" almost SUV). Great interior though.

I went to the launch event of the EX35 here in Vancouver and it seemed like a big vehicle with absolutely no room in it.

haha...you will be getting about the same rear seat space between the two cars...
well...maybe the EX has got a couple inches on the one.

the EX looks like the runt of the litter between a G35 sedan and an FX

Can't wait!

The dealer only has a Sedona Red with 6sp.. I guess its a luanch edition up here.. so I decided on black interior, M Sport, Premium, Comfort and USB. I was thinking about coral or beige but settled on black finally. Should net to almost the same as the EX.. at least I'll get a car with the same back seat leg room! May delivery..brutal!

Thanks for your words of incouragement.. tough time with the EX. Great drivetrain..lousy service. Camera is what went boom among other things.

Anyway great to be back with BMW.

(And yeah I've had minor problems with my 330 too but my dealer is excellent)
