OEM chargepipe upgrade to BOV

I'm upgrading my OEM CP to an aluminum one with a BOV flange. When I went to remove the OEM pipe there's a 2" hose connected between the stock diverter valves that goes to some sort of cannister that looks like it then vents to atmosphere. What is that and can I discard it with the rest of the OEM CP and DV's ?

ER calls it the "sound baffle" (http://www.evolutionracewerks.com/node/53). You can just remove it with the OEM pipe.

yes you can get rid of all that stuff, you just need to plug the holes that those 2 hoses connect to on the intake tubes

Thanks everyone - new pipe is on and BOV is working well on an 11# spring.

Now for the MHD stage 2+
