Merely mounting a new set of tires/wheels (especially 20") does not change mechanicals whatsoever. So it's not a mod.

Sway bars, springs, SSK, air intakes, etc. Those are mods. Tinting, clear turn signals, subwoofers, spinners and such are not.
So because they are accessories, do you call it accessorizing your car instead?

No, it's borked because I was (wait for it) kidding about the 20" wheels--I'll be going with 18's.

Furthermore, you're telling me that adding lighter, non staggered 18" wheels and tires is not a mod? 404 Logic not found. :iono:

So by that logic putting different brand tires, oil, oil filter and the such is a mod.

Now that's funny.....

I don't really consider tint a mod, but I'll probably get that done right away.

After that I'll start buying parts, and when I've got 3 or 4 things I'll take the car to my buddys shop and we'll do them all in a day.

I'll probably do down pipes, springs (and shocks maybe) CDV, intercooler, and short shifter at the same time, and then hit the Dinan dealer in Nashville on my way home and get the tune put on the car.

I probably won't do much more than that to increase HP, so then I'll probably slap a set of LMs on the car, maybe the lip spoiler from the Tii and call it a day.

My first mod would be a clear bra. That is something everyone should definitely get to prevent rock chips. The first thing I did after buying my S2000 was drive to the nearest installer to install my clear bra. lol.

Main Entry: mod·i·fi·ca·tion
Pronunciation: \ˌmä-də-fə-ˈkā-shən\
Function: noun
Date: 1603

1 : the limiting of a statement : qualification

2 a : the making of a limited change in something; also : the result of such a change b : a change in an organism caused by environmental factors

so anyway, my first Cosmetic mods are changing the front and back emblems to black/white propellers, and window tinting.

I want to add some Carbon Fiber and the BMW Performance exhaust soon
