Color quetion on 1er coupe

which color looks best in real life (not on pics) on 1er? As usual, some colors show the car off better than the others, despite your actual taste preference. Since I don't own a 1 coupe but my gf said she liked the TiAg at the dealer, I'm asking you guys for some color advice. Post pics as proof if you like.

personally i'd disagree with her, I think Blue or Black metallic are better as they don't show off the sagging middle section of the car as much (a part of car I find to be poorly executed)

Edit: meant sedona red, not vermillion!

There is a reason why sparkling graphite is no longer offered. It was so gorgeous that God recalled it back to heaven so that man doesn't go blind in a fit of beauty

oh, yeah, that was great colour, also had it on E9x. I don't get why BMW recalls nice colours and introduces instead something that's completely lame (some beige variety or those browns they keep calling bronze).

black is the best since the hood mounted windshield washer nozzles aren't body coloured!

OTHER = Sparkling Graphite Metallic

Best color ever. It's Liquid Metal when wet and never seems to look dirty.

I got a 2011 in Space Gray, but it would have been Sparkling Graphite if they still made it (I had a 335i in graphite). But some of the blue ones on the board here are gorgeous cars! I voted blue...

I have just discovered Sedona Red and realized why BMW used this color in most of it's advertisements, gorgeous in the sun.

SGM

Another (prejudiced) vote for SGM. It seems I've owned a zillion cars since 1955, and this is my favorite of them all in the color department. Inexpressible preference on first seeing it on previous BMW models. Call it love at first sight.

Crimson Red, clearly.

All the other options look boring in comparison, IMO.

If I had to choose a second favorite, it would be TiAg. Looks great on the 1er, but there are so many silver/gray cars out there...

In some conditions, yes; in others, no. Some of us find the variable palette part of SGM's attraction. I can certainly see not liking it if purple bothers you.

Purple is actually the rarest color in sgm. Most of the time in sunlight it appears red or blue. In shadow it resembles space grey. That makes sense because sg is simply sgm's base coat

Another vote for Deep Sea Blue. I wasn't going to get it (thought it was too dark) until I saw it in person. It's beautiful and luminous in light, but looks almost black in dark.

Of course, this is a silly topic of conversation. Nobody here can tell you the right color, only you can. That said, definitely look up DSB in person before you rule it out. Looks great with Terracotta interior too!
