A few new shots. Black Grills
I refinished my front grills over the past few days...
What a hastle! I painted them once. Then when I clear coated them. the Clear fish-eye'd....So I sand them back down. I painted them again and in the morning they looked great! I picked one up and held it up to the car....and Dropped it! the frony of the grill was all scratched... Well I had ONE finished. I sanded the other down just where the scratches were and repainted the top...but the paint wrinkled because I forgot to clean the wax off.... OK! So I sanded the grill back down (for the fourth time) and painted it again.... This time it looked great and I didnt drop it.... WHEW! Here ya go! nothing new to the forum.. but it was a fun project overall... these are from my phone...    |
