Blue Water Metallic and rims

What color and style wheels would you guys do on a blue water metallic car?

CSL rep, M6 rep, breyton gtrs?

Will grey wheels or hyper black be too dark for the blue water?

YAH Bright silver or brushed/polished aluminum. That color is so classy/pure looking. Black/grey wheels are more for aggressive colors. I think anything but silver will ruin the look of that pure color. IMO
Here you go. This would look great...

The price is good and the weight is fantastic, but not being forged I can't believe they can be very strong for low pressure cast wheels. I might get a set for winter in black for an Alpine 135i. Maybe?

Black wheels on a white car always looks bad to the bone. White cars are so forgiving when it comes to wheels. I had a 1991 SHO that had the white one from the factory. Looks a little dated now, but I loved that car when I first got it.

You can also get the Work wheel @ Ravspec in new york. Ask for Mark. They are custom made in Japan. You need to call about fitment. I know they should be able to fit one on the 135i, because I had a set on order for my 07 Acura TL-S which had big Brembo's. Not many wheels would fit that car, but this one would.

As far as weight, the 19"x8.5" Work Varianza weighs about 27#. But they are very strong 2 piece wheels, a little heavy but of very high quality.

^ You know it! I just ordered a set in black! I'm trying to decide to leave it semi-matt or clear coat them.

I've had a set of Ultraleggera MTS which had been clearcoated over the original matte finish. Not sure why, but they started to flake off - perhaps the clearcoat was too aggressive and weakened the original paint, or could be something else.

Bottom line is I had to soda-blast and repaint them. I love these wheels, absolutely do - they're strong and true, but I just think the finish is not as durable as say the OEM wheels, or BBS, etc.

Unless you have had actual experiences with the OZ finish before, tread carefully.
