Install M4 ceramic brakes on 1M ?

Why would you want to?

For track duty, still rotors with track pads are the far cheaper and equally (more?) effective way to go.
For bling duty, just paint the caliper in gold color.

Front may be easy as you just upgrade to F8x hub and strut. Rear may be a bit more difficult as the 5 link rear has been revised.

Get proper ceramics - not the M4 ones. Otherwise, a good brake brake kit, steel lines and proper fluids would give you better performance.

The M4 ceramics are not really for track use.

Unless you want to only run BMW brakes, why not upgrade to AP Competition, Brembo, PFC, etc. They all make kits that are superior to the BMW offerings.

+1 for AP. the Essex version made for the E9X M3 that looks like a perfect fit for the 1M.
