I agree with you 100% I really meant to state that when buying a used car especially one s rare and liked as the 1M you just don't know if the person before you broke it in properly. After the initial 1200 mile break in procedure by all means drive it like you stole it.

At some point used 1M buyers are going to have to get over the eternal mystery of what happened to it before they purchased it. Frankly, if it's such a concern, they should have just bought one new.
The Carmax listing is gone and the 1M has been sold most likely to a REALLY happy guy. .

You have to realize that people on car forums are a little more into their cars than an average Joe out there. This could have been a guy who ordered one because he could, and once he had it drove the crap out of it for a few months, and is now onto his next car which could very well be an M5 or something.
