DIY: Sub/Amp Install 128i
Hello all,
I know there are lots of posts on doing an after market sub install but I am confused and could use some help. I have a 2011 128i that I want to install a single 10" sub in the trunk. Planning on making a custom box to fit in the back somewhere but I want to make sure I can get the wiring done before I start on that. My problem is i don't know where to to hook up the amp input wires in the car.. Do I do it from the factory amp or should I splice into the speakers? Can anybody help me figure out where to hook these wires up? Thanks |

I did it today in 3 hours taking breaks. It was very easy! Buy a pac and tap into the wires going into the amp. If you google search you will find the answer to your question.

I actually do not know if it is a (depressing) head unit.
I know that I do not have logic 7 and that I have HI FI. I found a wiring diagram but I am wondering if I need another component to add to tapping into the car's wires before connecting it straight to the amp. |
