Decided I, too, needed to be FLOSSin'

Yes, I bought the brushed Red CCWs he was selling. Some quick photos from this morning.

H&R Sport Springs
CCW Classic Race with Street hardware
18x9
18x10.5
Brushed Red finish from CCW

Tune, exhaust, some more BMW Performance sueded accessories inside, possibly remove tint and do a carbon front lip up next.

That's all for now.

Need some center caps to cover up those rusty wheel hubs, but otherwise

Looks amazing!

Except for BMW's completely stupid rusted hubs. Mine are the same. Even Honda coats the hubs so they don't rust over like that.

Yeah, regarding the hubs...

I'll paint them eventually. With the Race version of the Classics, they are not machined to accept any centercaps, so CCW doesn't make any that would work.

They claim it's because tracks don't allow centercaps, so they don't machine the wheel to accept any.

My only complaint about the Race vs. Street versions.

The offsets are +40 front, +44 rear.

I want more low in the rear, but not going to happen on this car. Want it to remain enjoyable to drive and not having to worry about eating tires or fenders.

I like the roof rack on the car as well, as luck would have it.

Not sure on the tint percentage as it was on the car at time of purchase. I'm not a tint fan and have debated on removing it.

Two good things here:
1. It's my car and my personal style
2. It's removable in like 5 minutes should I not want to run it.

I understand that it's removable - but do you use it?

Haven't used it yet, but very well may put a basket on it eventually.

You must be new here

There are a ton of threads on these forums with regards to roof racks/bike racks etc...

Most of them are kind of amusing being that sometimes when people are posting pics of their car, the thread veers off to roof rack/ bike rack discussions having nothing to do with the car.

That's all.

No, not new - but have never seen anyone put a roof rack on a 1er as a "cosmetic" mod. Seems weird, is all.

But to each his own. For me, sorting the suspension is a much bigger priority. You know, functional mods.

Well I'll make you a promise - when my 1er shows up and if I put a rook rack on it, I'll put a surfboard on it too!
