Agree. I have a DCT with downpipes and a 3.5" exhaust and personally I think the pop's, burble's and throttle blimps sound great.

Yeah I wasn't overly excited by the exhaust note of the new M3/M4 when vids started popping up 4-6 months ago.

But at the end of the day NA engines generally sound better and like the new M5 unfortunately whilst there is more power and better fuel efficiency it's predecessor sounded a lot better!

It def sounds like post-shoot sync,vas the sound isn't impacted by distance of chase car. I've heard the car sounds phenomenal in real life, and BMW has upped its game thanks to AMG. My guess is this clip represents what the car sounds like on the inside, but I suppose farts are a personal pref gents ;-)

there are definitely parts of the video shot outside as it fades in and out with distance. sounds great from a while away then the mic is overwhelmed.

if it's inside... that's worse, who wants to listen to that?

Frankly this sounds no better than a N55 135i.

However its not a reason to program active sound via the stereo..
