Swapping my trim from wood to glacier questions

Ok so originally I have the ash tray and noticed after removal of everything that the glacier ashtray lid does not fit? It does not even have the right notches in it like the wood trim? I will take pics later if what I am talking about but it's very odd? Anyone else have this issue? Everything else seems fine? Since it does not did I was considering just getting the pocket and removing the ashtray I guess would be the best solution, I only used it for charging powering my v1 but I guess I can hard wire it. Or modify the the pocked and installing a 12v plug into it somewhere? I dunno haha
