WOW! Can you describe your wheel sizes, tyres, offsets and else is it rubbing? Does it drag your steering wheel on bad roads?

Are you happy with them. Is there any disadvantages?

No performance issues with the wheels per se once they eventually appeared (several months late). I will never do business again with that vendor though. Aside from the delivery issue, they assured me 265s would fit in the rear - HA, it wasn't even close. Rubbed like crazy. Even 255/35s (Hankook V12s) rubbed slightly on one side until I had the fender slightly rolled. Check the vendor feedback forum for similar tales about that vendor and Forgestars. The wheels are also not a perfect hub fit for the 1 and require spacer rings which are extremely difficult to get off (in reuseable condition). I solved that by instead using several layers of electrical tape shaved flush with the face of the hub to center the wheels. One of the nice things is that these wheels (titanium finish) even look good dusty.
If I remember correctly, I believe they're 18x8.5 et48, and 18x9 et 52.

Must be the offset you ordered are not the offsets they machined, since I have the same tires and no rubb at all with Breyton GTS-R's and the rears have the same offset and are 8.5".

The Breyton's replicate the factory setup, they are the same width and basically the same offset, so they'll fit with ease. His wheels were wider in the rear.

The Forgestar F14 Flow Form Wheel is one of the best solutions in terms of a great lightweight and strong wheel for the 1series. The Forgestar lineup utilizes a combination of the best methods of forging and casting methods both in the same wheel. This is called Flow Form Casting, and is used by companies such as BBS and Enkei. These wheels are made to order and can be made to fit your BMW with a large range of offsets.

Flow Form Casting is a production procedure that turns the wheel (or rim section) over a special mandrel and three hydraulic rollers using tremendous pressure. The pressure and turning then force the rim area to form against the mandrel, creating the shape and width of the rim. During Flow Forming, the rim actually "flows" down to create the full rim width. During Flow Forming, pressure applied to the cast rim actually changes its mechanical properties, so its strength and impact values become similar to those of a forged rim. That translates to up to 15% less weight when compared to a standard cast wheel.

What size wheel are you looking to go with 18" or 19"? I'll shoot you over a PM with a bit more details. In the meantime here are a few pictures of a variety of different setups that we've set up for our 1 series customers for you to check out!
