10,000 miles no issues
I just hit 10,000 miles on my 06 325 and have not had a single issue (ok, just the spring sound from the seat belt!!). I was just wondering if there is anyone else out there with more the 10k on there car and issue free?

I have about 8,700 miles on mine. No issues here either, except the stupid shimmy came back when I had my tires rotated. She purrs like a kitten.

Seems like the RFT's have to be broken in. My shimmy disappeared after 2K. |

I have 8,900 miles and no real problems other than the shimmy also. It went away recently and hasn't come back. I'll be coming up on 10k in about two weeks. So much for 15k miles a year.

i didn't have any serious issues with my e36 over 6.5 years nor did i have any serious problems with my e46 for the same length of time, so iam not expecting any serious issues with my e90 until i trade it in for the next 3 series.
i trust all will be ok for all of our e90s.

14k (Kilometers)/8700 (Miles)
I had read about the spring sound in the seat belt and counted my blessings till last month. Sounds more like a clicking to me. Very annoying! Passenger side seat (non sport) creaks when some one is in it as the car accelerates and rocks back and forth. When ac on for a long time the metal trim on dash expands and begins to rub and makes yet another creaking noise. There is a subtle clacking/rattle sound coming from the back seat area, probably a lose cup holder in the rear arm rest. Some would say these are small issues. Mechanically rock solid. Acceleration is smooth and sureal, I glide past traffic quietly and effortlesly, hugs the curves like on a rail. Had her waxed today (Jet black 330i )she's a real head turner. I love this car!!!!!! |

Oh almost forgot,
Driver side door handle sticks open (probably needs greese). Air bag light goes on occasionally (indicating bag is being turned off) when my girl friend is in the passenger seat. (no, shes not that light) And oh yeah, if your going for a long drive the Leatherette (or lets call it what it is) vinyl seats will sweat ten pound off your ass! Positive side, they grip you into place like crazy glue in spirited driving. Still love this car though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
