Nice ride, nice wheels, nice camera! Elegant and sporty at the same time.

I feel a little odd suggesting this, because I am a novice digital camera user, but here's what I've learned. When taking photos of my car, especially from the front, the car appears a little distorted when using a wide angle lens up close. In other words, the front of the car appears bigger (like looking through a peek hole) than what the eye would normally see. If you attach a telephoto lens, stand from a distance, and zoom up close, the car proportions seem more realistically scaled.

Cool! Thanks for the tip. I'm going to look into getting the lens converter and some other lenses for it after I get a little more savvy with the camera.

No I haven't. I like the contrast of the silver with the SG and they match up well with the blacklines too and the chrome on the car.

Thanks! That's exactly what I've been shooting for. The 1st week I had the car I saw a pic in the BMW catalog of an SG 330i w/ the 199's on it and I knew that's what I wanted but I wanted to take it up a notch as well. The tint, drop, blacklines are all part of taking that BMW image and upping the ante......Now all I need is a spoiler and I'm set.

BTW, I like the 162's on your car. I would have gone with them if I hadn't been able to get a good deal on the 199's...

the tires are from here...www.tirerack.com
As far as the wheels go, there's no link because I got them through an Ebay auction. There is a set up for grabs now though from a different seller....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-G...spagenameZWD1V

Thanks man! I gotta find some good pictures of an SG with the CF on it. The only pics I can find don't show a good view and my inability to get a good visual of what it will look like is keeping me from pulling the trigger on this...

Thanks for tracking those down. I like the look of the spoiler from a design standpoint but it seems like it is too dark for the SG car and doesn't blend in good enough. It may work on some SG's, like the one in the photo since there are other pieces of CF on the car, I don't know if it would fit with the rest of what I've done..

I could paint it but that defeats the idea behind CF and turns a $400 spoiler into a $500-600 spoiler..

If I had a black ride like Nature's it would be a no-brainer. The CF blends in really well on his car and looks great..

Well here's my crappy attempt at a "artist rendition" of my car with the CF spoiler.....Any comment as to the look of the spoiler...(not my ability to make the pic look worth a damn, I already know the answer to that ).....
