Most loaded competition
Anyone get every option? I'm not counting auto transmission and not sure whether active steering should count either.
I'm loaded up except for the satellite radio and the above mentioned items. I get satellite radio on my computer at a much higher bitrate and transfer it to my iPod, can't stand the compression artifacts on regular satellite radio. |

I have hd radio primarily because you get some funky non mainstream channels (some commercial free) and also NPR in better quality than AM radio.

Satellite programming and selection is better than regular radio but the quality is really awful over the air. The internet stream is much better (128k wma) and I generally record a few hours a day of it and put it on my ipod or iphone (stern!).

I passed on the HD radio. I have two of them in my house, but I'm not sure what is the benefit where I live. Progamming is the same. They sound great on all channels, HD or not. I can't tell the difference. They are just good quality radios/alarm clocks.
I passed on the ski bag. Not much skiing goes on around here! All other options are included. And if that's not enough to draw some fire, get this: When my wife and I bought our first car together, back in the 70s, it was a 4 cylinder Volvo DL 240 that, at her insistance, was a stick shift. She likes shifting. I wanted auto, so we got stick. She wont be driving this car much, so it's auto with AS. Until now, I've been your typical "get from A to B reliably and in comfort" sort of guy. This is my first car ever that was anything more than that. I didn't want to miss out on anything so I got everything. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited about all of this! |

I'm using the ski sack for my roller hockey sticks! Beats having to fold the seats down everytime. My R32 seats would not fully fold down if the front seats were too far back. I'm assuming that the same would happen in the 1 series. Therefore the ski sack comes in handy. :headbang:
