2008 BMW 128i  [0.00]
Hey, yes I installed the PBX myself, it took me around a couple of hours but the directions were pretty straightforward. At first glance everything looks confusing, but as I mentioned before its pretty simple. The only complicated part is snapping/plugging the ecu back in with the sliders. You will understand when I'm talking about if you ever install it and get to this this stage lol.

I have rather simple ECU (270 HP) tuning, sport downpipes/exhaus and intake (+20 HP).
It pushes subjectivelly like 135i stock (around 5,5-5,8 s 0-100 km/h), but runs way, way nicer.

yeah, but as far as enthusiasts go, the 135 is the top choice here.

I find my 128 to be a perfect commuter car. It's fast enough, handles well enough, and is comfortable enough. I also agree that the 128 is underatted on this board.

each car has it's tradeoffs and it really depends on what you want to do with it.

I think 128i is better balanced car, with ample power. Just like any other NA, rev it high.
