The ST seem to be a good bang for your buck, but the TC Kline is going to be great for autox and with the adjustable rebound, will be great for DD duty.

TC Kline are definitely more track oriented than the street oriented STs. I'm sure you'll be happy, but in NJ on 19" wheels, my butt would get sore congrats!!

TCK are more comfortable than stv1, ive owned both on the same car

TCK are more comfortable because the struts and shocks are shortened and custom valved for the spring rates you choose.

TCK with a moderate spring rate rides better than stock, or did on my m3. They also are adjustable for compression which helps a lot.

They *can* be more track oriented totally dependent on spring rate. Even with a street spec spring rate, the handling differences are very noticeable and impressive.

- KW V2
- TC Kline
- Ohlins
- Moton's

Would appreciate if anyone had a comparison.

Looking to upgrade from Dinan S2 (Koni Yellows custom valved with Dinan springs) to a set that is more track / autox friendly. Getting a lot of lean in corners still.

What about the kw clubsports? I've searched threads but can't really find much info on them. I've heard (heresay) that though they are firm and great for the track, they aren't too firm for a dd? Thoughts?

Ah yeah - and would it be overkill to later do the m3 suspension conversion? I know it's big bucks, but hey, I don't know of anyone that's tried it. Please point the noob in the right direction if there is a thread on this.

I think majority will say go with ohlins. I will do a review of the TC Klines once installed in about a week

Got the TC Kline single adjustable coilovers installed. The install went alright, took longer than i had expected it to.
The rear adjusters are very hard to adjust, you have to either remove the spring and adjuster, or somehow get the suspension to sag enough and just adjust it while it is still installed. So far that is the only negative thing I have to say about them. I didnt drive it much because it needs an alignment, but so far it handles very well.
I have the rebound set 1/4 firm, so the ride is very comfortable. Reduced body roll was the first thing I noticed. I will write a better review after they settle and the car gets an alignment. I also may do some minor adjustments tomorrow. Right now, the rear is slightly lower than the front.

So read this whole thread and still don't feel like I have a solid answer...

My car is DD but I take it out to the mountain very often and feel the car under steers realllllly bad.

I want to help my handling on the mountain runs without lower the ride height and still keep it Semi-comfortable for every day driving... Performance on the runs is more important than comfort tho in my case....

What are te recommendations

My only advice I can give is about tc klines. no more body roll, rebound and compression adjustability. I have it set softer so the ride is pretty comfortable. They don't go very low, and can be stock ride height if you want.

It seems everyone has a different opinion, but if you go with one of the high quality choices listed above, I'm sure you won't be disappointed
