Is $32,500 A Fair Deal?
Finally found one I liked. Silver exterior, white leather interior, black soft top.
It's a 2008 BMW 135i convertible. Has Premium Package & Sports Package, M steering wheel, steptronic and also heated seats. Has the CPO warranty, and only 22K miles. Is $32,500 a good deal on this car? Please let me know your opinions. Thanks! |

Are you a sales rep in Austin or something? I checked the BMW of Austin website and they don't have any 135i's listed there.
If your a sales rep at the Austin dealership PM me your number and I'll call you. |

Not a sales rep but have enough connections to get cars if needed. Don't work for any dealer or anything. Was considering selling my car for a while.

drenkel,
negotiate it!! dealers go by black book value. I was looking into trading my car in for 2011 335is and gave up on the idea as soon as they told me that my car - loaded 2009 bmw 128i sport with 16K miles is worth from 18-21K 2008 is either without factory warranty or it runs out really soon so previous owner didn't get top dollar for it, since they CPO'd it it's possibly a good car to buy but I see no reason why you should pay their asking price

That's a terrible deal. Just sold my 2008 135i vert CPO, loaded and in prisitne condition, but wit high miles for $25000. I would not offer any more than 28000

Sorry to say it but you got taken for a ride. You can private party that car for $29,000. Maybe a bit more if it's a manual...those are harder to get used.

My car had 60000 miles on it but was in very good condition. I cannot see how a car that stickers for 50000 when new can retain more than 55% of its value after model years. Hence the $28000.
OP: Offer them $28000 and be ready with the cash or financing. This even works on new cars. Just bought my C63 brand new. Sticker is 69800. My price: 61500. Money talks.

I would try to push for 31K.
$32.5 is OK but not great...

I have a 128i convertible with every option except idrive.
In Canadian $ I paid 40k after taxes, it has some factory warranty left but has the extended as well until September 2014 Also, the car only had 9200KM on it not sure what that is in miles but it's not anywhere close to alot. Once I hit 40,000KM I might upgrade to a higher model 328 perhaps? |

Just bought a Certified 08. Convertible, 6 speed, premium and sport packages. 7500 miles, $32k.
Found only a handful of certified 135s verts with sticks in the entire country. |
