BMW Roadside Assistance
Apologies if this has previously been covered.
My warranty is about to expire and so I got a letter from BMW offering to extend my BMW Roadside Assistance for $128/yr. Any opinions on this? Suspect I'd be better off with NRMA for $105 . . .

I rather stay with BMW road-side. Just renewed our Audi road-side this week, $148.50. So BMW's is not badly priced.

WTF I wanted to extend my BMW assistance but was told I couldnt, I thought it was up but I think I have until the end of this year.
They are a lot better than NRMA. Any1 know if you can keep extending?

Stay with BMW for sure, saved my ass today!
Got new tyres fitted at St George Tyres and they didn't tighten my front wheel bolts (don't f**king go to them), ended up having to pull over in a random street, called roadside assistance, they arrived in less than 30 mins and fixed me up. |

Go with NRMA. When I needed them last time, they cover only like 10kms of towing. If you have an Amex Charge Card their standard coverage is already better than BMW Roadside assistant.
Although the phone manner was excellent on BMW Assist they really don't have much product knowledge. They don't know what my car is a 1M, and ask me why I need a tow for a flat tyre as my car have RFTs..........

Cool.
I have used them twice, 1st week I didnt know how to open the fuel flap and had to call them. Another time my car was making noises and they told me it was a rock in the calliper and to break heavily to knock it out, worked.
