i know people say this a lot

but it's a SERIOUS PITA to peel plasti-dip off wheels, especially one that has hard edges next to curved ones

it takes as long to remove as it does to apply

finding this out now haha, 2 peeled, 1 half peeled, then i said 'eh later' even with pressure washer help.

^^ as long as you do enough coats, it just peels off like electrical tape. You can use a toothpick to lift it up to peel in area's you can't get with your fingers or nails.

your right its a PITA to peel off , thats why in the pics i posted up i only peeled one of the rims and just left the black plasti dip on the rest of the rims. lol But what i couldnt peel off i used Goo Gone and it just wiped right off , so there was no need for a pressure washer.

Thats very true, the more you apply the more easier it is to remove later on.

All you need is this to remove plasti dip/overspray. it comes right off.

ahhh, true, using some stripper would melt it.. even some soaps/acid free wheel cleaners seem to melt it (my autoglym stuff makes it a bit slippery :/)

i sprayed mine on the car, peeled it off on the car... 3/10 would not do again haha

ED: mine peels off easily enough once it's going, but it has so many sections it takes a long time overall... (VMR V701's).. and it's near impossible to get off the wheel bolts while on the car (luckily i'm going wheel studs soon lol), or the holes that take the bolts.
