Question!
How is that you are able to record your laps using 2 GoPro installed on your car??? I thought video/camera recording of your laps were forbidden?? I would like to do the same than you next month, can you tell me how that is possible?? I have a GoPro ready to go... Thanks for your post!!! Awesome!!

I heard this was video of Advevo taking his driving test for his first license. Not sure how well he scored but think he passed.

GTS needs a better driver. It can pull away from the 1M consistently, but the 1M driver negotiates the turns more aggressively and keeps catching up.

DSC was off and sport on for faster throttle/turbo response.
We could film because it was a closed track day. The lap was not perfect there is still a lot more in it. I can do under 7.40 with ps2 with my car. This lap was already a 7.40 if i did not have any traffic. But this lap was already on some places on absolute limit. I think with semi slicks you could do about 7.30 BTG or even less. But still my nurburgring experience is about 100 laps and times get better if you have more laps under you're belt. For me it s fun. I like to show to all of you what the potential is of a 1M. It is not as fast as a GTS no way. GTS has 110 hp more. But in cornering the little beast is perfect. The shorter wheelbase makes it a perfect handling and agile car. |

Great drive and thanks for sharing the video...
Who else thought "GET OUT of the way suzuki piece of garbage" half way through? Fantastic time and would have been even better with a clear run... |

LOL-I've been procrastinating on my ED trip journal since October. Just got way too busy. At one point I was thinking of posting my GoPro lap videos but after seeing the 1M vs GTS in action I'll probably hold off. My laps were nowhere near as cool except for when I kept up with the e90 M3 ring taxi.............for a few seconds before it blew me away.

I was actually quite surprised you were able to catch up to him time after time after he seemingly gotten away. Did he dial back to 7/10 after he put on some distance or is it the 1M is really that capable in turns that you were able to make up grounds

Did you get to drive the GTS as well, or what's your guestimated time for Advevo driving the GTS? |

Andre: Impressive! Really, really impressive! I wish I had your car control.
Quote:
Timing and/or taking videos is forbidden during tourist traffic. Andre was driving during a trackday where the track is closed to public traffic. There and during the races you can time and record whatever you want. There is an exception to the "no video" rule. You can rent GoPros from the Nuerburgring and if you are using a rental cam, it is permissible to take videos in tourist traffic. Is it adviseable? No. Especially not for someone that is new to the track. Cut the bs and concentrate on what you are doing. Sounds harsh? Believe me, it's not funny, when you have someone in front of you that is more worried about his camera than the oncoming traffic from behind. In addition, if you are not used to driving with a camera, chances are, that it will make you go too fast. This track has very few places where there is room for error! Check out this page before you go: http://20832.com/?rubrik=nordschleife&lang=eng
