No, it does not. Maybe BMW decided to finally add the dipstick back? There have been many oil sensor failures.

Halejulah! Maybe BMW has seen the light (or not seen the light in cases of sensor failure).

Two potential positives and one negative in all this:

Positives:
- hopefully a dipstick in the car (besides me ; -)
- a chance that we'll see a hydraulic steering rack in the 135i (slim to maybe)

Negative:
- less than 30 MPG Hiway probably (but hopefully not by much)

Oh this is a nice find. Thank you sir.

Sunroof is a option!

Wow. The 135i beats 335i to 60 by .2 of a second. And it seems like the R18" wheels are the same size as the 335i except its wrapped with 245 instead of 255.

The difference in price between the 335i and the 135i is 6.2k pounds....will we see a 12.4k USD price difference in states? Starting MSRP for 135i at 40k-12k = 28k? hahaha wishful thinking... but it does make the 33k base price within reach

Sunroofs are always optional in UK and Europe. It's our U.S. dealers that have insisted on every car having a sunroof.

If you remove the engine, you'll save even more weight:wink:

Seriously, this is not good news (and I'm very weight conscious). A big tank is a great thing - you don't NEED to fill it up to the top if you don't want to.

And it also means that the 135i is even heavier than we thought, since the specs are given with a full or half tank (I forget which), but smaller tank means car is even heavier dry than if it had a large tank

That was my first thought too. That means it's even heavier as the gas tanks aren't the same size.

I sure hope we get the M Steering wheel in the U.S. I'd even pay extra as an option. It's not the ///M logo that does it for me though, it's the perforated leather sections of the wheel and lack of brushed aluminum trim that I prefer.

hi guys - from uk - could be wrong but autocar is saying that it will be getting auto a bit later in the year after launch - so don't worry if you don't want a manual. it's in the paper version of the mag, not online yet - so you may have to take my word for it...

i will let you know for sure asap - have ordered an alpine white and red leather car which is coming in dec/jan, but awaiting confirmation as to whether it will be built with auto.

too old for a manual day to day car, though i'll cope if i have to!

I'm assuming that's for the UK version only... the ratio of automatics to manuals driven in the US is ridiculously high vs Europe -- I can't see BMW not offering one in the states.
