My dealer gave me 2 copies, the one that was on the car and a clean one. He said that was because people seem to want a copy of it, so BMW just makes 2 copies with every car.

I got mine handed to me when I came in to sign the final paper work after my car arrived at the dealer. I dont know if they kept the other one, but I'm guessing it never even went onto the car since the car came in sold.

Not correct, U S Federal regulations require that the "Monroney" sticker ber on the car when sold.

They're not supposed to throw them away, search your car, mine was between the seat and the center console.

Your other option is to have someone here with your same option list scan it and send you a JPEG of it.

Technically, in the US it is illegal for the dealer to sell you a car without a sticker, as well as they have to give you the sticker as a part of the sales process. I know Mercedes keeps a record of every Monoroney for every VIN made, and can be requested later down the road - perhaps BMW does the same?

Do Canadian BMW dealers give you the window sticker? Never seen a window sticker on a BMW at a Canadian dealer. Most other car dealers have window stickers on their cars. Any canadian buyers get a window sticker or enquired about the window sticker at time of purchase?

I spoke with my SA this afternoon again and he states that the records department hasn't been able to locate it. He follows up by saying that he will have to look into it some more.

Is there a direct contact number for BMWNA? How do you contact them?

12 brand new cars & insurance never asked for window stickers

They will print another copy of the window sticker and mail it to me. The rep will call back with a status.

Good show. If the dealer removed the Monroney label as a convenience to you, they should have presented it to you. The dealer should be grateful to BMW NA!

if nothing shows up in the mail, try talking to the manager at the dealer (or someone higer than the salesman).

Three hours after speaking to a BMWNA rep, my SA calls my cell phone and states that they "found" the window sticker.
They are sending it to me.

Hope this didn't earn my SA a bad rating with BMW corporate. After all he did take care of me on the purchase.
