By the way, there are two solutions from Ohlins currently available for the 1M. Both are rather track focused. One is the solution mentioned in this thread developed by Ohlins USA, released a bit over a month ago:

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=625284

The other is likely an even higher end solution targeted at competition cars, available from Performance Shock Inc.

Both are probably more expensive than the upcoming R&T solution, but both are also likely higher performance for track work and competition applications.

Although both of those Ohlins based systems are excellent for track use on track or competition 1M/M3's, they are not recommended for street duty at all and will likely not carry any warranty.

For street duty and track days, Road & Track will be perfect and nearly half of the price.

Here are some photos with the Swift spring upgrade.

Rear is easily done and we used the quick change rear spring kit so the main spring can be changed easily.

Front is a bit more involved when NOT using camber plates. An adaptor had to be custom made for the OE strut top mount to accept a constant ID coilover type springs, but as you can see the result is awesome and look very OE like. A shorter spring can be used to allow the highest lower spring perch position for wider wheel/tire clearance.

What is the minimum drop on the 1m?

It would be nice to be able to have a nice road / track handling upgrade without having to drop the car since I like the stock ride height.

Should also ride best at the max height.

Thanks, and can you go into more detail on the installation issues on the front? Does this apply with the out of the box kit with Ohlins supplied sprigs?

Thank you!
