Hey, thank you for posting this! There's an old saying in sales, customers never call to say how happy they are - but it's really nice when they do

I've been perusing the site JLevi for a couple of weeks. I can see myself causing large amounts of distress to my bank account.

One question: when are you guys gonna have the B&W Roundels for the 135i back in stock?

So if I place an order now I'll get some? Or are there heaps of pre-orders already and I'm gonna miss out?

You should be able to get some. Go ahead and place an order and we will send them out to you whenever we receive them.

So I got the spoiler yesterday, not the greatest quality but still pretty decent for half the price of the OEM one

Putting it on the first time but found out the 3M I was using was too thick, so I had to redo it and clean all the mess up with some goo gone

Put it on again with better taping and so far so good (Ghetto style, will be like this overnight)

Applying constant pressure like that is what most people do. Post some pics of the spoiler itself when its done adhering!

3M tape is way too thick and doesn't look right. Mine was installed with it and you can easily see the space between the spoiler and the trunk. When I got my CF mirrors (coincidentally from JLevi), I used gel/glue adhesive instead. The only downside is that it's much harder to take off if I ever want to go back to the original mirrors.

JLevi is one of my favorite vendors on the board (I have a lot of favorites on here, but JL has never let me down)

I don't like putting constant pressure because it ruins the shape and angle it's made to be at...

I don't think it will ruin the shape, it's more to hold the spoiler down so it keeps slight pressure on the 3M tape

The tape I got was the thinnest I could find, I think it sits pretty flush.
Will def post some pictures where its done.

keep us posted... I've been looking at the alternative spoiler options but if fitment isn't perfect then I'm probably just going to wait until I can buy the OEM or iCarbon spoiler.

Not sure about this spoiler, but you won't regret the icarbon if you decide to go with them. The fit and quality is awesome, but just make sure to ask if it's instock before you order it. I had to wait almost 3 month's

Okay so I took the masking tape and the bottles off this morning
It's been around 12 hours or so of holding it down

Fitment is around 80-85% good (Pictures make it look worse because the flash brings out all the reflection of any hint of double sided tape)
It is not curved quite enough so the ends have a very little lift

The back by the brake light lifts a bit as well

But overall I don't really mind it, because it is quite a bargain compared to the OEM one. I mean sure you get better quality and fitment, but I just can't bring myself to spend 500 on one piece...could get an exhaust almost.

Just my opinion.

Yah. It looks good except for those 2 small areas. How is the CF on the spoiler itself? No breaks or gaps?

Here is an OEM fit and finish I took pictures of:

Nope it looked pretty good, no blemishes much
But I can kinda see that the OEM has a "rounded" edge (On the side facing rear window)

But the aftermarket one has certain places that are kinda rough and unfinished

maybe its your pictures, but i would not have been happy with that. The fit looks off and the finish is horrible. If you dont wanna spend the $$ then I would search the For Sale forum for used stuff. Again, could just be the pics and it doesnt look that bad in person
