I don't know mate, don't really want to hear the excuses, it will arrive when it arrives.
The only thing that is cheesing me is the fact that the weather will most probably be even more crap than it is now. Be good to get a group together for a spoon around europe. I have a route planned almost down to each individual road to take in France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Its going to have to go on hold until next summer though now I reckon. |

Planning a similar road trip when I get mine early September, possibly to run it in a little quicker. I'll post here to see if you or anyone else fancys coming along.... Got any suggestions for some nice roads from your trip - I had this rough route in mind: Leominster - Llandridod Wells - Aberystwth - around Coast - Snowdonia... My cars now officially "on the boat" according to the dealer Last edited by Harry135; 08-16-2009 at 02:36 AM.. |

I'd be well up for a euro trip as well, did one last year and it was awesome.
Russ, driving on the right was fine but it's one hell of a pain if you go on a toll road and only one of you in the car, have to stop run round car pay, go back round and off you go lol the locals never seem to impressed

Sounds good people!
Harry congrats on the new purchase, with any luck mine will be on the same boat. I am Berkshire so not a million miles away. Maybe a mini meet up sometime end of September would be good. I am definately up for the european trip although I reckon spring next year would be the time to go. Having watched that video I really wished I had of pushed the dealer for European collection. He reckoned it would be a difficult to set up and that he had never heard of anyone actually doing it so I caved in. |

Yeah, mini meet up end of Sept sounds cool. The lake district may be best for all as you are from Berkshire.
Assumed it was only US customers who had the choice of Euro delivery - would love to do that. Whats your spec Mike? Mine is....135, LMB + auto + cruise + xenon + front park |

Lakes sounds good.
I can't remember the full spec as it was soooo long ago that I ordered the damn thing now. I remember not putting memory seats, front park and adjustable lumber support on the car but I have ticked just about everything else. It is a manual though Mines going into production on the 31st of August apparantly. I am collecting a car to drive around in on the 2nd of September from the dealer as it has taken so long. |

DOH!! did I say the lake district - meant the cotswolds....how would the lakes be better for someone from Berks - doesnt matter lakes, cotswolds, all sounds good to me.
Well good news for me - car is in the country and even better news the dealer has managed to get more for my trade in than he initially thought...how honest of them, once again cannot praise Sytner Birmingham highly enough - a pleasure to do business with. Just been away for a few days to Barmouth - drive across Wales was good, some stunning roads, would have been better in a 135. At least your dealer is doing the good thing of giving you a car on 2nd Mike...wonder what it might be! |

I went to Sytner to see some 135's when i was buying! As the Worcester BMW garage just would answer the phone or see me when i went there (3times) So I had to buy car elsewhere!
My car has now been in at BMW garage for two days! The fuel pressure sensor is broken (whatever that is) and this morning on my way to work, a stone smashed my windscreen on the M5!!! BUT there is a very nice 2yr old M3 on the forecourt! Hmmmmm Oh and the cotswolds sounds good!! |

Harry, lakes, cotswolds all sounds good to me. When I get it I would be happy with a road trip to NZ. I will just want to drive it!
May I ask when you ordered your car please? Russ, the M3 can wait, the 135 is going to have a cult following i am sure of it. If you read EVO there is a page in this months issue about a 135 they have added to their fast fleet. They are going to treat it to BMW performance parts with a view to setting a quicker lap time than an E92 M3 |

Is that an E90/E92 M3 russ? Tempting huh...is that Worcester BMW?
Mike ordered my car - 17-06-09 - verbally over phone. Pretty sure sales chap said they needed to get a build slot from another dealer to get it here for September. Choosing reg today...whooohoooooo!!!! I've told the missus I'm gonna disappear for a few days when I get it, been calculating if I drive like 10 hours a day for 2 days still wouldn't have it run in! Russ - did you run yours in 'by the book'?? |
