Guys,

After less than a year of ownership, I've decided to put my car up for sale. I bought the car new and it currently has 8k miles on it.

Location - Minneapolis.

Reason for Sale - Want to buy something new (M3

).

Spec
Year - 2009
Colour - Jet Black
Interior - Black Leather
Packages - Sport and Winter
Trim - Glacier Silver Aluminium
Miles - 8k

Mods
Wheels - Genuine BMW performance wheels style 269 (couple of scratches)
Tires - Nitto Invos (4k miles on them) 225 fronts and 255 rears
Tune - GIAC Stage 1 (can be easily removed)
Interior - Rixster Vent Gauge
Winter wheels and tires - E46 330ci wheels with blizzaks no TPMS (2 seasons left)
Go Mini Go - No holes license plate bracket.

Maintenance
Exterior - Full professional detail done in April 2010.
Engine - I did a post break in oil change at 3.5k miles.

Issues
None (NO HPFP ISSUES!)

Note
I drove the car on the track once for 6 laps. It was during an advanced driving program which was not competitive. I did spin the car off the track but no damage was done.

Price
I would like $30k firm. I've received this amount from a dealer already but figured I would gauge interest within the community.

Trades
No trades unless you have an E92 6mt M3 with less than 10k miles in black or blue. I will pay cash on top of course.

I would take that from the dealer and RUN, if they really offered you that. That is a VERY solid offer for your options. IMO. I have talked to a few people with fully loaded 09's, m-sport packages, with similar miles, and they got offered 30k.

Yeah...if they did offer that, it's "fantastic" given the options you have on your car... I actually stopped in to do a trade-in on mine and the Toyota dealer offered me less than $30K and mine is a immaculate Vert and completely loaded... obviously if I were trading on another BMW I'd assume they'd give more so maybe that is how you'd get so much... best of luck on the M3!

I bought my 2010 model for 29k and only 6k miles on it from the dealer. Was a borrower car (for repairs) though. (to go with the 09 statement)

Don't forget also on trade in, if they do give you 30k and the car you purchase is 80k you will only pay 50k on taxes (or is that state dependent, actually scratch that, that is but check your state it may be the case)
